About RunCabin

A one-person shop building tools for people who want to own their slice of the internet.

What RunCabin is

A real website, live on your own domain, fast.

There are three ways in, depending on who you are.

  1. 01

    For local businesses and trades

    We build it for you.

Painters, plumbers, electricians, salons - answer a few questions, see a real preview with your name and city, and go live the same day. A quote form sends every lead straight to your inbox, with no lead fees.

    Small-business sites →
  2. 02

    Build it yourself

    You build it, with AI.

Describe your site to Cobble, our AI designer, in plain English. You get a working site with a 24/7 AI agent, a real Postgres database, and a private GitHub repo you can buy outright - $99.99, one-time, yours to host anywhere after.

    The AI builder →
  3. 03

    For AI assistants

    Your AI assistant builds it.

Connect Claude, Cursor, or VS Code to RunCabin over MCP and "put this online" becomes something your assistant can actually do - a free HTTPS subdomain instantly, a real custom domain when you want one.

Three doors, one outcome: a site that is actually yours.Your domain and your leads, always - and real source code you can buy outright when you want it.

Why it exists

Small businesses keep paying rent on things they should own.

RunCabin is the opposite bet.

Set people up with something real, charge a fair flat rate for keeping it running, and make leaving painless. If you cancel, the domain is still yours and the leads were always yours. And for AI-built sites the source code is real too - a one-time $99.99 buyout transfers the GitHub repo to your account, yours to host anywhere, with or without us.

Most platforms have nothing to sell you at any price.

Who's behind it

A one-person shop, on purpose.

RunCabin is built and operated by me - Ryan, a senior software developer based in Baltimore, MD. It's a product of CodePoetics, my small software studio focused on practical tools for independent businesses.

Being small is a feature, not a bug. When you email hello@runcabin.com, you're talking to the person who built the thing.

Our commitments

Four promises, in writing.

Where your site lives

A green datacenter by default.

Since July 2026, every site RunCabin hosts - all three products - runs in Hetzner's Falkenstein datacenter park in Germany. The facility runs on 100% renewable electricity - certified hydropower the operator has used since 2008 - and it is unusually efficient: air-cooled with no water cooling, at a power usage effectiveness of 1.10 to 1.16, where a typical datacenter runs around 1.5.

We won't dress that up as more than it is. It is not "carbon neutral" - servers use real electricity, and Hetzner itself says it is not fully climate neutral yet. The plain version: we picked a green datacenter, your site runs on renewable energy, and it costs you nothing extra. There is no green tier.
